HPV Vaccine
The HPV vaccine is recommended for 11-12 year-old girls, and can be
given to girls as young as 9. The vaccine is also recommended for 13-26
year-old girls/women who have not yet received or completed the vaccine
series.

Immunizations Available
- Hepatitis A: Two doses of the vaccine, given at least 6 months apart are needed.
- Hepatitis B: Full immunization requires 3 doses of the vaccine over a 6 month period. Usually the first 2 doses are given 1 month apart, and the third dose 5 months after the second.
- Varicella (Chicken pox): Two doses of the vaccine between 4 and 8 weeks apart are needed for anyone over 13 years of age.
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella):
- Pneumonia vaccine: recommend 1 dose after age 45, and 1 dose after age 65.
- Influenza vaccine: Recommend annual immunization
- Meningococcal vaccine: (Meningitis)
- Td (Tetanus diphtheria): Recommend 1 dose every 10 years
- Tuberculin Skin Testing: (Mantoux)
In addition to vaccination, the probability of contracting respiratory infections can be reduced by following a few simple steps:
- Cleaning hands often with soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand cleanser
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
- Stay home when you are sick and keep sick children home
- Avoid close contact with people who are ill
- Do not share eating utensils, drinking glasses, towels or other personal items
- Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze
