Community Based OrganizationsCommunity-based
organizations are volunteer-based, self-funded non-profits that
operate within a local community. There are several CBOs within
Lake County which work in conjunction with the local health
department to provide resources and services to the community
in the form of education, fundraising and testing with a focus
on HIV/AIDS and other STDs.
